Cienfuegos is located on the southern coast of Cuba. Renowned for its colonial-era buildings. Called the Pearl of the South, it is the second most important port in Cuba and capital of the province of the same name. Cienfuegos preserves a fairly homogeneous urban core in terms of architecture, full of classic facades and slender columns that provide an atmosphere reminiscent of the 19th-century France that inspired it.
During the navigation through the interior of the bay, you can first see the city of Cienfuegos; also called "La Perla del Sur" since colonial times, where emblematic buildings such as "Palacio Valle", "Palacio Azul", the residential area "La Punta" called by the native aborigines "Tureira", Proclaimed Heritage of Humanity, after sailing on the coast of the city, the navigation goes to the EAST towards the area of "Punta la Cueva" and "Cayo Carena" where clients can enjoy images of the natural attractions offered by the Escambray Mountains, the route continues to the SOUTH sailing along the entrance channel of the bay where fishing villages are shown arriving to the town of El Castillo where clients can see and photograph from the sea the fortress "Nuestra Señora de los Angeles de Jagua", built in 1745.
