From Havana to Cienfuegos and Trinidad. In the morning, you will depart from Havana for the charming city of Cienfuegos, also known as the Pearl of the South. This elegant city, founded by French settlers at the beginning of the 19th century, is striking for the orderly layout of its streets and avenues, as well as for the European influence felt in its architecture. Located in a bay of extraordinary beauty, Cienfuegos also holds an incomparable natural treasure: its waters contain the largest coral reef discovered in Cuba, named Notre Dame for its imposing size and majestic shape. During the tour, you will enjoy a panoramic tour that will take you to the city's main attractions: Martí Park, the heart of local life; the Tomás Terry Theater, a 19th-century architectural gem that still preserves its splendor; the House of Cultural Assets, where Cuban crafts and cultural expressions are exhibited and promoted; and the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, with its neoclassical façade and beautiful stained-glass windows.
After the visit, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where you can sample typical regional dishes, and continue your journey to Trinidad, one of the island's most fascinating colonial cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After breakfast, you will begin your tour of the city of Trinidad, known as the Jewel of Cuba, which has the privilege of being one of the country's colonial towns and also ranks among the most complete and preserved architectural ensembles on the American continent. There you can enjoy an incredible walk through its stone streets, which are traced in the middle, to admire its Spanish colonial architecture, which gives the feeling of having stopped in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988. You can visit the Plaza Mayor, the Romantic Museum and the Bar Canchánchara where you can taste a typical drink based on lemon, honey and aguardiente. Lunch in a local restaurant. After breakfast, you will begin your day traveling to Santa Clara, an emblematic city located in the heart of Cuba and recognized as a key stage in the history of the Cuban Revolution. The first stop will be the Mausoleum of Commander Ernesto Che Guevara, a site of great historical and symbolic value, which honors the life and work of the legendary Heroic Guerrilla. Here you will have the opportunity to tour the museum and relive the most significant moments of his revolutionary struggle. The tour continues with a panoramic tour of the Historic and Cultural Center of Santa Clara, where you can admire important architectural gems such as the La Caridad Theater, the Museum of Decorative Arts, and the former Government Palace, which evoke the cultural splendor of the city. You will then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, featuring typical Cuban dishes.
Afterwards, you will visit the famous Armored Train Monument, a historical site that commemorates one of the decisive actions led by Che Guevara during the revolutionary struggle. You'll also have the opportunity to get up close and personal with one of the city's most interesting contemporary works: the interactive sculpture known as "Children's Che," created by Basque artist Casto Solano. This two-meter-high piece allows for a closer look at Che's figure, passing on his legacy to new generations. Finally, you'll continue your journey to your next destination: Varadero, with its white-sand beaches and turquoise waters, or Havana, the vibrant Cuban capital full of history, culture, and charm, depending on the hotel selected previously.
