After breakfast, depart by bus from your hotel to the city of Santa Clara, located in the heart of the island and recognized as a key site in Cuba's contemporary history. The day begins with lunch at a local restaurant, where you can sample authentic Cuban cuisine accompanied by the characteristic hospitality of its people. Afterward, we'll head to the majestic Commander Ernesto Che Guevara Sculpture Complex, a solemn space that houses the mausoleum where the remains of the legendary guerrilla fighter lie alongside his comrades, as well as a museum that captures essential moments from his life and work. A visit full of symbolism and emotion that connects you with one of the most universal figures of the 20th century. The tour continues to the Historic and Cultural Center of Santa Clara, where we'll make a stop at Leoncio Vidal Park, the heart of the city, surrounded by buildings of great heritage value. From here, you can admire the elegant La Caridad Theater, the refined Museum of Decorative Arts, and the former Government Palace, which together create a setting redolent of history and tradition. Next, we'll enjoy a panoramic walk through the city, passing through Carmen Park, the emblematic site where the founding Mass of Santa Clara was celebrated and one of the most representative spots of its origins. The experience is enriched with a visit to the Armored Train Monument, a symbol of revolutionary victory and the site of one of the most decisive battles of 1958. This site allows you to authentically relive a crucial chapter in Cuban history. Finally, we'll stop at the sculpture "Che de los niños," by Basque artist Casto Solano. Trinidad: The Museum-City of the Caribbean. After breakfast at the hotel, we'll begin an unforgettable tour of Trinidad, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and considered the Jewel of Cuba. Founded in the 16th century, this city is recognized as one of the most complete and best-preserved colonial architectural complexes in all of the Americas. Walking through its cobblestone streets is like taking a trip back in time to the 18th and 19th centuries. The walk will allow us to admire the unique Spanish colonial architecture, with its colorful houses, wrought iron lattices, tiled roofs, and elegant plazas that tell the story of its past linked to the sugar boom. We'll visit the Plaza Mayor, the heart of the city and surrounded by imposing colonial mansions. We'll continue to the Romantic Museum, located in the former Brunet family mansion, where valuable period pieces are preserved that reflect the splendor of Trinidad's 19th-century aristocracy.
Next, we'll stop at the famous La Canchánchara Bar to sample the typical cocktail of the same name, made with aguardiente, honey, and lemon. All accompanied by live traditional Trinidadian music, which gives the atmosphere a unique and festive atmosphere. The cultural experience is completed with a visit to the Potter's House, an artisan workshop belonging to one of Trinidad's founding families, where you can observe the creation of unique pieces and experience one of the city's oldest and most authentic traditions. After the program, we'll head to the confirmed hotel in Cienfuegos for overnight stay and dinner.
