Your guide will lead you through the best charms of Mexico, Guatemala and Belize. This trip will add excitement and emotion to your adventure vacations in Centro América.

Today we must leave pleasant Playa del Carmen and travel to the quiet Caye Caulker, the capital of Belize. This city is known for having a warm and welcoming atmosphere and we will stay here for two nights. On early British maps the island's name is spelled "Cay Corker" because sailors used to stop here to fill their water bottles with fresh water. Back then these water bottles were sealed with corks! Look forward to a pleasant evening at the Hotel Caye Caulker Plaza or a similar accommodation.

Make the most of the island’s natural splendor by exploring the coral reef. There are plenty of full-day and half-day diving and snorkeling tours to choose from or you can choose to spend a simple day at the beach. Explore the second largest coral reef in the world and try and get close to an amazing manatee! Tonight you will stay at the pleasant Hotel Caye Caulker Plaza (or similar).
Today we will go to the stunning city of San Ignacio in Belize. This colonial city is remarkably beautiful. Here you can explore elaborate architecture in a country with beautiful beaches and dense, mysteriously beautiful rainforests. Tonight you will overnight at the enjoyable Hotel Trek Stop or a similar hotel.

There are plenty of optional excursions in this area. You will have the whole day to enjoy whichever activity pleases you! This town is very near some unique Mayan ruins as well as a great location from which to embark on adventure activities. Try out kayaking, caving, hiking, horseback riding and more! You will once again overnight at the Hotel Trek Stop or similar.
Time to say goodbye to Belize. In the early morning we will cross the border and go directly to Tikal National Park to see some Mayan ruins and then we will make our way to Flores, a beautiful town by Petén Lake. Spend the afternoon at your leisure. There are many remarkable natural and archaeological wonders in the region. Tonight you will stay at the comfortable Hotel Casona de la Isla.

Travel from Flores to Rio Dulce town and enjoy the view of the river. Rio Dulce, which means ‘Sweet River’, is a lovely town intersected by waterways. A boat tour is one of the best ways to see this beautiful location. Tonight travelers will stay at the hospitable Hotel Hacienda Tijax (or similar).

You have the whole day to explore whichever sites you find most interesting. Some of the most popular include the Citadel of the Castillo San Felipe, the Mayan Ruins of Quirigua, the Finca Paraiso Hot-springs and Waterfall, and the Rio Dulce National Park. Really take this opportunity to explore the wild side of Mexico. Stay at the charming Hotel Hacienda Tijax or similar for a second evening.
Today you will have the time to explore this lovely town. Tour the museum, churches, and colonial buildings. Antigua is a great place to buy colorful fabrics, jade jewelry, and silver trinkets. Look forward to a relaxing overnight stay at the peaceful Posada La Merced or similar.

Today the group will cross the border to the beautiful country of Guatemala, our first destination there is Panajachel located in the Western Highlands of Guatemala. Panajachel (or Pana, as it is widely known) is a small town on the North shore of Lake Atitlán. Overnight at Hotel Kamol Bey or Similar

Today you will take a boat across Lake Atitlan to San Juan La Laguna. This tranquil town is a great place to see local artists painting in the traditional native style. If you want a truly unique souvenir this is the perfect place to get one. Tonight, we will have the opportunity to learn more about Mayan traditions by visiting a Mayan house and learning more about Tz’utujil food and culture. Overnight at Posadas Mayas Rupalajistalin.
Today you will explore the city of Antigua. This former capital has several large monuments that speak to the history of the place and is a great place to shop. Spend your afternoon discovering this UNESCO World Heritage site on your own. Tonight you will stay at the beautiful Hotel San Jorge or similar.
