Breakfast. We travel to the north of Jordan, between mountains we visit the FORTRESS OF AJLUN, a powerful castle from the 12th century. In this area, Muslims and Orthodox Christians have always coexisted, we will visit the old CHURCH OF SAN SERGIO. Do we all pray for peace? Lunch included. We continue to JERASH, and visit its impressive Roman archaeological site. Return to AMMAN. Arrival and accommodation.

We will go to the CASTLES OF THE DESERT, built between the 7th and 8th centuries. We will visit QASR KHARANA, with its imposing structure of thick walls and QUSAYR AMRA, a World Heritage Site, stands out for its remarkable frescoes on the walls of its walls. After that we travel to MADABA, lunch included. We will visit the Archaeological Park of Madaba, crossed by an old Roman road and the Church of San Jorge, with its fantastic mosaic from the 6th century that represents the oldest known map of the Holy Land. We left for BETANIA, on the banks of the Jordan River, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, it is the place where John the Baptist baptized Jesus. After that we will include a visit to the DEAD SEA MUSEUM, in an impressive panoramic complex, lunch included. Arrival at our hotel in the DEAD SEA, do not forget to take a bath in the saltiest sea and at the lowest level of the earth. Dinner included and accommodation.

Exciting stage through the interior of Jordan. Our road follows the Dead Sea. We know the CAVE OF LOT, discovered in 1991, with its old Byzantine church from the 6th century. After that we went up the mountains. DANA, a small picturesque village of stone houses on a huge cliff. Lunch included. We continue along the king's route to SHOBAK, where we photograph (exterior only) the great castle of the crusaders. Continuation to WADI MUSA (town created around Petra), we will know the SPRING OF MOSES, where Moses supposedly hit the rock with his rod and the water gushed out and the Museum of Petra, an excellent sample that allows us to understand the history of the Nabateans and learn about magnificent pieces found in the area. Dinner included and accommodation. Travelers who wish can go at their leisure to an old Turkish bath or see the sound and light show in Petra.

Today we have the most exciting day of the trip: First thing in the morning we visit the impressive archaeological site of PETRA, we will access through the narrow canyon and we will discover the temples and tombs excavated in the cliffs in this city founded 300 years before Christ. After lunch (included) we go to the impressive desert of WADI RUM, in the visitor center we take all-terrain vehicles to see some of the most impressive landscapes, we stop in the town of Rum where we know the ruins of the Nabatean temple. We include a 45 minute camel ride through the desert. We will also visit the Khazali Canyon, in this spectacular place we will see the engravings that show us the origin of the Arabic language. Dinner included and accommodation in a desert camp.

After breakfast we go to AQABA, the second Jordanian city, on the shores of the Red Sea. A walk through the center before continuing to the border of ISRAEL, EILAT, arriving in this modern and touristic city with its excellent beaches. A relaxing time for lunch and a walk. Do you dare to bathe? Before continuing to the EGYPT border. Passing to Sinai, on our route we photograph the island of the Pharaoh with the powerful fortress of Saladino. Continuation to SANTA CATALINA, Arrival, dinner included and accommodation.

At the foot of Mount Sinai we know the impressive walled Monastery of SAINT CATHERINE, here according to tradition Moses saw "the bush that burned without being consumed", the monastery is a sacred place for Jews, Christians and Muslims, it belongs to the Orthodox church and is World Heritage. We continue later through the Sinai desert, picturesque landscapes. Lunch en route included. Stop at the WELLS OF MOISES, a biblical place that looks like a small oasis. We will leave Sinai through the tunnel under the SUEZ canal. CAIRO, arrival at the end of the afternoon. Accommodation.

Full day visit in which we include the famous pyramids of Cheops, Khafren and Menkaure (entrance to the inside of the pyramids not included), as well as the impressive Sphinx carved in rock. Visit the Egyptian Museum with its ancient art and where the treasure of the tomb of Tutankhamun is kept. Lunch included. Also included are the Saladin Citadel and the Alabaster Mosque. We will take a walk through the Coptic neighborhood where we will see the hanging church built on top of a Roman fortress.

After breakfast (variable hours depending on flights) transfer to the airport. We include flight from EGYPT TO TURKEY. Arrival at ISTANBUL airport, border procedures and transfer to the hotel. Free time.

Sightseeing tour of the city. In our tour we will include a cable car ride to the Pierre Loti viewpoint and we will enter the Suleyman the Magnificent Mosque (the largest in Istanbul), we will visit the walls, the golden horn, the fishermen's quarter and we will admire the exterior of Hagia Sophia. After the visit we will include the entrance and visit to the Topkapi Palace, which was the administrative center of the Ottoman Empire with its magnificent courtyards and pavilions. Free afternoon. We are in a city built over two continents. At the end of the afternoon we will provide a transfer to the Taksim neighborhood, the most commercial area with the most local life in the city. Time to dine in one of its many restaurants, you can also take the old tram that runs through the area or go to the next Galata Tower.

Today we include a boat trip on the Bosphorus of about two hours. We will do it on a private boat for Europamundo travelers. The Bosphorus is a strait that connects the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara, separating Istanbul into two parts: the European and the Asian. We will enjoy watching the animation of the strait with all its boats, we will pass under the two bridges that link Europe and Asia and we will admire the palaces of the sultans, the typical wooden houses, the Ottoman villas. Free time (additional visit with entrance fees and lunch inside Topkapi Palace will be proposed)

Today we travel by train, from the station in the area of Asia we take the most modern and fastest train in Turkey, a pleasant 4-hour trip seeing the landscapes of Anatolia or having a coffee in the train cafeteria. ANKARA, arrival, after some time to have lunch in the station area with the coach we will take you to see the Ataturk Mausoleum. We will continue after that route to Cappadocia. We pass through the SALT LAKE, with its incredible landscapes. Arrival at AVANOS (CAPADOCIA). Dinner included.

Full day in the fantastic region of CAPPADOCIA, with its lunar landscapes, its churches and troglodyte villages. We know the Valley of GOREME with its open-air museum and its churches excavated in the rocks, entrance included; We will visit UCHISAR, a natural fortress. In KAIMACLI we will visit the underground city that could hold 30,000 people. Returning to Avanos we stop at PASABAG, the valley of the fairies and we will walk in this spectacular natural area. Free time and dinner included.

At the limits of Cappadocia we visit the IHLARA Valley, the freshness of its waters, its churches and villages carved into the rock. Then we continue our route, a stop at an old 13th century CARAVANSERAIL before reaching KONYA where we visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana, here we will know the sect of the Dervishes (entrance included). Dinner included. In the evening we suggest you attend the dance show of the dancing dervishes in the cultural center.

We take a scenic road between lakes, we visit EGRIDIR, a beautiful town next to a large inland lake with its walls, its mosques. Time for lunch. We continue to PAMUKKALE Hierapolis, the calcareous waters have created the cotton castle (entrance included). Dinner included.

We left for EPHESUS, the best preserved ancient city in Asia Minor; 2000 years ago it had a quarter of a million inhabitants; we know the house of the Virgin Mary, the Basilica of San Juan and the impressive ruins of Ephesus (tickets included). Continuation later KUSADASI, popular seaside town with a lot of atmosphere, commercial life and a small castle. Dinner included.

We will go to the fourth city in population of Turkey: IZMIR, we know the church of San Policarpo, the oldest in Izmir, which reminds us of the importance of this area in the beginning of Christianity (entrance included). Later we traveled through the interior of Turkey again. Stop en route for lunch before arriving at BURSA, the fourth city of Turkey, its historic center has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, with its traditional commercial districts, mosques, religious schools, public baths… the Green Mosque stands out. Arrival in ISTANBUL at the end of the day. End of our services. Check your flight time in case you need an extra night.
