This Cuba motorbike tour leads through scenically very attractive stages, contains beach stays at atlantic and caribbean shores, city nightlife as well as low mountain range passages.

  • Squares, fortresses and buildings built by the Spaniards between the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries, HAVANA, a wonder city about to turn 500 years.
  • MATANZAS, recognized as the City of Bridges. Because of its architecture of strong personality and high national values, it is called in 1860, the Athens of Cuba.
  • An artistic reproduction of a Taíno village with 32 sculptures, the GUAMÁ Tourist Park, located inside the MONTEMAR PARK, in the CIÉNAGA DE ZAPATA, a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO and RAMSAR Site as the largest wetland in the Caribbean Sea.
  • PLAYA GIRON, known worldwide as the Bay of Pigs. In April 1961, in the Pigs Bay, an US-invasion took place here to overthrow the new government. How a small country resisted an attack by a superpower. You learn more about it at the Girón Museum.

  • VALLE DE LOS INGENIOS, also named Valley of the Sugar Mills, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, is a series of three interconnected valleys about 12 km outside of Trinidad. The three valleys, were a centre for sugar production from the late 18th century.
  • The museum city of the Caribbean Sea, TRINIDAD, full of history and traditions in every corner, declared by UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Known as the city of Che Guevara, SANTA CLARA, the capital of the center of Cuba, with a vibrant cultural tradition.

Exploring Cuba by Enduro Motorcycle.

  • This Cuba motorcycle tour will be realized with min. 1 and max. 10 participants.
  • We reserve the right to carry out the trips with a higher number of participants.
  • Shared room: We'll try to find another participant with the same preference and gender. Meanwhile we'll charge you for a single room. In case we find a room partner we'll reduce the amount.
  • We usually book the hotels mentioned in our travel information. Unfortunately, it is possible that we have to alter the reservation at short notice because of the current capacity situation. This could occasionally lead to changes in the itinerary.
  • Bike stages / Days off: 7 / 2.
  • Length of stage (km): 155 kms.
  • Total length (km), approx: 1190 kms.
  • Riding time per stage: 4 hours.

This moto tour is not only something special for active travellers, but also for those who would like to discover eco-friendly Cuba in a different way: by an awesome bike. Your guide will lead you through Cuba’s central regions, while the daily routes vary from 80 to 420 kms. Your luggage will be transported in the support van, which you can get on at any time as well. This trip will add excitement and emotion to your adventure vacations in Cuba.

  • If hotels mentioned in the itinerary are already fully booked, we reserve the right to book another accommodation of equivalent standard.

  • 10 maximum motorcycles in the tour.

  • Types of Motorcycles: No Moto|Marca 1|BMW Enduro motorcycles, type F 700 GS (55 kW).

  • It is not allowed to transport people who are not part of the group on the motorcycles to accompanying buses.

  • The bikes will be delivered to the customers on the second day of the program at the parking place.

  • The internal regulations will be read by the guide, which must be signed by each client. By giving you a copy of it.

  • During the connecting routes, at lunch or meals alcohol is not allowed.

  • The use of helmet is obligatory. You can use an open helmet or a closed helmet.

  • We recommend the use of light but strong clothing. They must have a raincoat for any eventuality.

  • The organization that accompanies the trip will be available for any information.

  • All participants must travel with their own personal insurance.

  • It is not allowed to transport people who are not part of the group on the motorcycles or accompanying buses.

  • Deposit in Guarantee of € 300 at the moment when the client receives his motorcycle which is returned at the end of the route, when it is verified that the motorcycle does not present any damage.

Before starting the tour the organization must have in its possession the following documents: a) Declaration of responsibility signed by the driver * b) Photocopy of driving license; c) Photocopy of the passport.

Accompanying customers

  • The companions will enjoy all the activities included in the program as described. They will be able to travel according to their opinion in the accompanying Micro Bus, or in the motorcycle of the accompanying biker, but they will not have right to handle the motorcycle that includes the circuit

RECOMMENDATIONS:

  • We recommend your clients to take a fully comprehensive insurance for the activities included in the itinerary.
  • Bring comfortable and appropriate shoes and clothes to walk in the outdoors, swimming trunks to refresh in the streams and/or beaches, Repellent. There may be some mosquitoes in the parks we will visit.
  • Beware with sun burning. Bring your own protector lotions.
  • We might need in the outdoors small rucksack for the personal belongings.
  • In Cuba we have a widely spread medical assistance, with clinics in the most remote areas in the country. Anyway, if you are suffering a chronic disease or allergy, etc., it will not be worthless if you bring your personal first aids kit or medicines, especially when you are far from the main cities.

    Arrival in Cuba

    Get a first impression of Cuba and some information from your tour guide while enjoying your welcome drink in your hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, we have the chance to discover night life in the old town of Havana and to enjoy dinner (optional) in one of the most beautiful squares of the historical old city center. Live music in small bars and cafés makes us move our feet to the vivid music of Cuba. We can go for a stroll through animated streets and alleys and can stop for a rest in one of the restaurants and cafés under the open sky.

  2. DIA 2HAVANA

    Test drive in Havana

    After breakfast we discover the historical old town of Havana and its culinary highlights. We get back to our accommodation afterwards, change our clothes and take our motorbikes at Parque Central. In order to get familiar with your bike, we do a short and relaxed tour throughout the city and get back to the hotel for dinner (optional).

    We leave early today in order to avoid working up a sweat in city traffic. Our first longer stage leads us over narrow roads to Matanzas and finally to Jagüey Grande. We spend the night in “Bohíos de Don Pedro” resort or in the simple but attractive resort of Guamá. The next morning we pay a visit to the crocodile farm of Guamá

  4. DIA 4GUAMA - CIENFUEGOS - TRINIDAD

    We take the road along the Bay of Pigs up to Girón where invading troops, trained by the American CIA, landed in April 1961. They attempted to overthrow the Cuban revolutionary government which was established two years earlier. Then president John F. Kennedy half-heartedly supported the unloved project which he had taken over from his predecessor. The invasion failed and nearly every invader was put into Cuban prisons. If you like, you can get more information about the historical event in the little museum. We drive along the coast on poorly maintained roads up to Cienfuegos and have a little break. Afterwards we follow Carretera del Sur up to Trinidad where we will stay overnight in Las Cuevas hotel or in a smart Casa Particular. After dinner in a private restaurant (optional), we enjoy vibrant nightlife in the city streets.

  5. DIA 5TRINIDAD - SUGAR MILLS VALLEY - TRINIDAD

    Tour to Valley of the Sugar Mills

    After a short tour through the historical city center of the former sugar metropolis, we continue our one-day excursion to the Valley of the Sugar Mills, embedded in a wonderful landscape northeast of Trinidad. From the observation tower “Torre de Iznaga”, formerly used to monitor the slaves working in the sugarcane fields, you can let your gaze wonder over the huge sugarcane fields to “Topes de Collantes”, the central region of the Escambray Mountains. After our return we spend another night in Trinidad or in a beach hotel on Ancón Peninsula

  6. DIA 6TRINIDAD - SANTA CLARA - CAYO SANTA MARIA

    Via the Topes de Collantes to Cayo Santa Maria

    Today we traverse the central region of the Escambray Mountains: Topes de Collantes. Driving past the Hanabanilla Dam, we finally reach Santa Clara after two hours drive. The conquest of the city on December 29th, 1958, by Revolutionary Troops under the command of Ernesto Che Guevara, finally led to the victory over the army of the Cuban dictator and president Fulgencio Batista. Three days later, he fled into exile in the US, the Public Treasury of Cuba with him. After a short stop in the city we make our way through Remedios up to Cayo Santa María where we spend the night in an attractive all-inclusive hotel.

  7. DIA 7CAYO SANTA MARIA - REMEDIOS - VARADERO

    Varadero

    Our motorbike trip continues; shortly after leaving “Terraplens”, the connection between the archipelago of Cayo Santa María and the main island, we take a short break in Remedios in order to marvel at the unique colonial city center. Along the coast and using the Carretera del Norte, we reach Varadero after a few hours drive. We stay overnight in Varadero which is the best-known bathing spot of Cuba.

  8. DIA 8VARADERO - MATANZAS - HAVANA

    Return to Havana

    We seize the opportunity to explore the peninsula in the morning. After lunch in our hotel, we check out and take a beautiful road passing by Matanzas, the carretera central to Ceiba Mocha and then turning right to Aguacate, Bainoa, Jaruco, Campo Florido until we arrive in Havana after a few hours drive. We return the motorbikes and check in in our next hotel, located in the old city of Havana. We review the highlights of our tour during dinner together.
