PROPERTY INFORMATION

The floorplan of the property is of rectangular form and traverses the block from one side to the other. Both spaces, the restaurant and hostel, are entirely independent from each other. El Paladar (the restaurant) faces Desengaño Street (AKA Simón Bolivar #283) and is one of the oldest and most recognized in the city of Trinidad. It is located in the main body of a mid-19th century home with a typical courtyard structure in the center and rooms surrounding. Our restaurant is known for its extensive variety of cuisine and our guests have the privilege of dining in museums and fine English dishes, accompanied by silverware and antique glassware, all in a magical way combined with the beautiful traditional Trinitarian music.

The hostel is located in the back, in what used to be the carport and other accessory spaces of the main house, and has its entrance on Olvido Street (Santiago Escobar # 166). It is the result of a post-modernist design that tries to integrate in a contemporary language many elements of traditional architecture. All in all, it is a harmonious and organic combination that highlights the architectural and historical beauties of the colonial and contemporary Trinity.

THE PLACE

You will have at your disposal a room with natural light, view and access to the terraces, two beds, a side table with chairs, closet and drawers, a mini bar, air conditioner, fan, and private bathroom.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Paladar Hostal "Sol y Son" is located approximately 300 meters from the Plaza Mayor, Iglesia Santísima Trinidad, Museums and other places of interest for visitors, a central place, transited and safe. The VIAZUL terminal is only two blocks from our home.

HOW TO MOVE

Trinidad is a city stopped in time, its streets made of Chinese pebbles, its squares, letting itself be carried away by its breeze at dawn and sunset is paradisiaco, observe the fall of the sun, it is one of the natural spectacles most beautiful of our villa. If you desire to go to the beaches, mountains, the valley, or other places close to our city, the easiest way to get there is via taxi or bicycle.

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS

The internet in Cuba has limitations. In our city, there are several WIFI hotspots, but you must first acquire a card for access in ETECSA.

In our country there are 2 coins:

2. CUC Currency freely convertible

The latter is used in most of our homes and palates. There are sometimes electric cuts, but only in a short time.
