Instead, each company has its own presence around Varadero, so the practical move is to pick your car first and let that decide where you collect it.

The fleets lean toward comfort and ease. Cubacar and Havanautos share entry level runabouts like the Kia Picanto and MG 3, both offered in manual or automatic, alongside the Hyundai Tucson if you want something taller. Vía brings its own character with the Suzuki Jimny for anyone who wants a proper little off roader, and the Peugeot 508 or Peugeot 2008 for a smoother ride. Rex is where the fleet turns properly indulgent: the Hyundai Santa Fe and Hyundai Cantus as automatic jeeps, the Mercedes-Benz E 200 and Mercedes-Benz C 200 for a sedan with some presence, and, if the top down mood strikes, a Mercedes-Benz C 180 Cabriolet with automatic transmission.
