The Armadores de Santander hotel is located right in front of the Bay of Havana, with a unique construction that refers to a fully marine environment. In this regard, at the top of the facade of the hotel, stand out the stone reliefs coat of arms of Santander, large lanterns like those used in ancient vessels and other maritime motifs. Its owner José Cabrero Mier, a native of Santander, redesigned the building in which offices were once recognized owners of this city whose boat fleet operating in the Antilles.
