Overview

Located in the Ecological Reserve Alturas de Banao in the Sancti Spíritus Municipality 20 km from the city and 54 km from Trinidad, Cuba.

In Jarico, there is a great biodiversity of flora and fauna, there are beautiful shade forests and arborescent ferns, endemic and native birds, the Banao River offers visitors its crystal clear and fresh waters for bathing enjoyment. On a route that goes along the slopes of the Guamuhaya Mountain, beautiful visuals are recreated until you reach the La Sabina Biological Station. It is observed during the tour ruins of old houses of residents of the nineteenth century dedicated to livestock.
