Located near the historical center of the city of Cienfuegos is the “Palacio Azul”, belonging to the “Encanto” hotels. It was built between 1920 and 1921 as the private mansion of a tobacco baron; it had many uses until the year 2004, when it became the beautiful hotel that it is today. Though its reconstruction there can be appreciated colonial style tiles, roofs of high props and a Mogol style dome; definite testimonies of its ecclesiastical architecture.
It possesses seven rooms named as flowers: Marilope, Azucena and Mariposa are in the first floor and Orquídea, Verbena, Margarita and Dalia occupy the second floor with a lovely view over the bay. For your comfort each one counts with air conditioner, satellite TV, refrigerator, standard safety box, comfortable beds with feather pillows and in the bathroom a bathtub and shower. Also the hotel owns a bar in the lobby and a small restaurant that offers traditional food with a continental menu.
The “Palacio Azul” stands near the dock of the Jagua Bay, the main square of the city and the boulevard of the Nautical Club; an entertaining center with bar, billiard, restaurant and disco. Currently it is known as one of the best hotels of Cienfuegos, the beloved city called “pearl of the south”, with its historical center named Heritage of Humanity in 2005.
The personalized service and the intimate environment to the clients of this palace will make you feel pleased in a city that waits for the visitors with open doors.
