Hotel Encanto La Sevillana is strengthened in the city tourism and the Encanto Hotels network, with superior standards and personalized services in this city of the Cuban east center.
The installation, of two floors, architecture mostly eclectic, becomes an allegory to Seville, Spain, in which all the original details of the building were preserved.
The spaces that make up the building, from the 1920s and with an eclectic style on the facade, are distributed around the interior patio, like the traditional colonial houses of Camagüey.
Likewise, sites with typical Seville elementals are recreated, enriched by the history, freshness and color of that region, with an architecture of great Mudejar influence.
The Sevillana is also a reminder of one of the great historical events that took place in the region, when the engineer and Captain Mariano Barberán and Lieutenant Joaquín Collar, undertook the flight from Seville to Camagüey in 1933.
Of that great feat without scale on the Atlantic, which would last 39 hours and 55 minutes, was an homage to an obelisk that is still preserved in the Casino Campestre of this city, the largest urban park in Cuba.
