PLAYA LOS BAJOS Camping

Playa Los Bajos Camping is located in the coastal area of ​​the municipality of Gibara. This new tourist center provides 240 tent capacities and 26 comfortable rooms, all air-conditioned, with minibar, television and private bathroom, in addition to an extra-hotel network that guarantees gastronomic and recreational services.

A few meters away you can enjoy La Playa los Bajos, a natural feature of great beauty and length that is located about 2 km from the east entrance of Gibara Bay, in the City of Gibara, also known as the White City, on the northern coast of the Province of Holguín, in the eastern part of the Island of Cuba. Los Bajos Beach is very shallow, an area of ​​245 meters with a sand strip of approximately 20 meters and dunes up to 1.5 meters high. A beautiful and abundant vegetation composed of caleta grapes. About 100 meters from the shore there is a coral reef barrier where fish of various species live. Los Bajos Beach is a very quiet place where the waters are serene, with a beautiful landscape in which the blue of the sky and the water contrasts with the vegetation and the fine white sand. The main natural, cultural, recreational and historical attractions that can be seen are Playa Blanca, Playa Caletones, the Natural Museum of History of Gibara, the Church of San Fulgencio, the Encuentro Sculpture Complex of Cayo Bariay, the Hotel E Ortoño, the Fernando VII Battery Restaurant, La Concha Beach.
