Itinerary

  • We depart from our hotel in Santiago to begin an engaging journey toward the impressive Andes Mountains, a vast mountain range extending over 7,000 kilometers across several Latin American countries, including Chile. Our route leads us to the most famous ski resorts of Chile’s central region, located approximately 65 kilometers from the capital.
  • As we ascend along a scenic mountain road, we will be surrounded by lush landscapes, clear mountain streams, and striking natural scenery. Along the way, we will make planned stops to gradually adapt to the altitude and to admire breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and rivers.
  • Our first visit is to the spectacular Valle Nevado, situated at an elevation of 3,000 meters above sea level. Recognized as the largest ski resort in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the most advanced in Chile, Valle Nevado offers a wide range of winter sports facilities, modern infrastructure, comfortable lodging options, and an excellent selection of restaurants.
  • The tour continues to Farellones, a picturesque mountain village known for its rich history and traditional alpine charm. Here, visitors can enjoy snow sports areas, a winter amusement park ideal for all ages, and inviting dining venues.
  • This unforgettable experience allows us to fully appreciate the remarkable beauty of the Andes Mountains while enjoying a delightful lunch accompanied by spectacular panoramic views. At the end of the day, we return to our hotel in Santiago, concluding a truly memorable mountain excursion.

  • OPERATION: Departure every day.
  • Departure from the hotel around 6:00 AM and return around 3:30 PM, arriving at the hotel.
  • Subject to weather conditions.
  • Not recommended for individuals with heart conditions, recent surgeries, pregnant women.
  • This excursion is available during the winter season in Chile, which generally runs from June to September, with July and August being the months of highest activity and the best conditions for snow sports. During this period, the mountainous regions of the Andes, especially those near Santiago (such as Valle Nevado, La Parva, and El Colorado), receive abundant snowfall, creating spectacular landscapes and offering excellent conditions for skiing, snowboarding, and other mountain activities.
  • We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for outdoor activities and windy weather, a hat or cap, sunscreen, sunglasses, a photographic camera, and binoculars.
  • We recommend bringing bottles of mineral water and energy snacks.

  • This tour operates without a minimum number of passengers, Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before departure. If the supplier decides to cancel, for reasons of force majeure or adverse weather conditions, Holiplus will offer an alternative tour or fully refund the cost of your trip.
  • The shared excursion service operates with a minimum of 4 passengers.
  • This tour will not run on the following dates: December 25 to January 1.

DOCUMENTATION:

  • It is the responsibility of each passenger to carry the relevant documents for the proper completion of their trip.
  • Passengers must be informed and prepared to comply with visa, vaccination, and other regulations specific to the countries they are visiting.
  • Therefore, passengers must bear the costs incurred due to non-compliance or misinformation regarding entry and mobility regulations within the different countries they are traveling to. In the case of Chilean and foreign passengers, they must present their foreign documentation, otherwise, VAT corresponding to 19% of the fare will be charged directly to the passenger.

  • Up to 33 days before the start of the tour: 0% penalty of the total amount of the originally booked tour + USD 15 processing fee
  • 32-15 days before the start of the tour: 30% penalty of the total amount of the originally booked tour.
  • 14–10 days before the start of the tour: 50% penalty of the total amount of the originally booked tour.
  • 9–0 days before the start of the tour: 100% penalty of the total amount of the originally booked tour.
  • No Show: 100% penalty of the total amount of the originally booked tour.
