Founded by the Office of the Historian of Havana in 1996, the San Cristobal Travel Agency S.A. is today the specialist in historical-heritage tourism and national receptive tourism of the network of offices of the historian and the curator of the heritage cities of Cuba. The founding premises of invariable validity for the organization are to propitiate a professional and orderly approach to the Cuban heritage by means of its rigorous communication and interpretation and to contribute economically to the process of integral revitalization of Old Havana. Consequently, the specialized tourist offer of the San Cristobal S.A. Agency combines the inexhaustible patrimonial wealth of the Cuban capital with that of other historic cities in the country, archeological sites, cultural landscapes, natural reserves and environments of high tourist significance.

Tour´s attractions

• Havana was a preferred destination for emigration, not only Spanish and African, but also of other ethnic groups and nationalities that settled in the city from the colonial period until the early years of the Republic. Men and women who left a legacy of identities, customs and cultural manifestations whose assimilation also contributed to the formation of the national identity. To reconstruct the imprint of these migrations, you can choose one of the following thematic routes: Arab, Spanish (Andalusian, Galician, Asturian and Canarian), Jewish, Chinese, Italian, French, German and Japanese. It includes visits to emblematic buildings and significant places on the selected route.
