Founded by the Office of the Historian of Havana in 1996, the San Cristobal Travel Agency S.A. is today the specialist in historical-heritage tourism and national receptive tourism of the network of offices of the historian and the curator of the heritage cities of Cuba. The founding premises of invariable validity for the organization are to propitiate a professional and orderly approach to the Cuban heritage by means of its rigorous communication and interpretation and to contribute economically to the process of integral revitalization of Old Havana. Consequently, the specialized tourist offer of the San Cristobal S.A. Agency combines the inexhaustible patrimonial wealth of the Cuban capital with that of other historic cities in the country, archeological sites, cultural landscapes, natural reserves and environments of high tourist significance.

Tour´s attractions

• The emergence of the city outside the city walls at the end of the 18th century and its expansion since 1863 marked the growth of the city, multiplying portals along the royal roads that became new thoroughfares. In the 20th century, an urban image was consolidated that stands out for the diversity of styles and influences that shape it, the width of the streets, the presence of green areas, the hierarchy of the buildings, and the landscape value of its coastal border. The tour includes views of the model of the city, buildings and sites representative of the neoclassical, eclecticism, art-nouveau, art-deco, modern movement and post-revolutionary architecture.
