The intense jeep tour will make you enjoy a great adventure, seeing a rich variety of natural landscapes. Mount Cabaniguán, located south of the municipality of Jobabo, between the provinces of Granma and Las Tunas, is famous for being the world's largest reserve of the Acutus crocodile species, also known as American crocodile, needle crocodile or narigudo crocodile. In 1986 the area began to be studied and researched and in 1990 the Don Miguel Alvarez del Toro Biological Station was built. Here you will have the opportunity to closely observe aquatic birds such as pink flamingos, Cuban parakeet, Cuban pijije, as well as the churroso woodpecker. It is an internationally protected area as a Ramsar Wetland, making it one of the best preserved and protected natural sites in the country. Monte Cabaniguan has unique conditions in the country because it has more than 32 species of birds.
Itinerary
- Pick up at the hotels, tour guide in the language, information meeting.
- Transfer to the municipality of Jobabo in Las Tunas, welcome cocktail on arrival.
- Transfer to Mount Cabaniguan, located south of the municipality in the community of Zabalo, is famous for being the largest reserve in the world of the species of crocodile Acutus, also known as American crocodile covering 14,500 hectares of land.
- You will be able to take an aquatic tour in the navigation between mangroves to enter the most interesting wildlife refuge in the country.

If the supplier decides to cancel, for not reaching the minimum number of passengers required, due to force majeure or bad weather conditions, Holiplus will offer you an alternative tour or refund, in full, the cost of your tour.
- Clients on excursions are accompanied and assisted throughout the tour by specialized driver-guides, who cover several languages.
- Pick-ups may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and the punctuality of the clients. The client must inform the sales office to avoid any inconvenience.
- The jeep is shared with other tourists (up to 4 pax/jeep).
- Those who wish to drive must bring their driving license.
- Jeeps have standard transmission.
Cancellation and no show policy:
- Cancellations more than 72 hours before the excursion: No penalty applies.
- Cancellations between 72 hours and 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 50% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- Cancellations less than 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 100% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- NO-SHOW: a penalty of 100% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- Reservation fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
