Enjoy an unforgettable adventure as you discover the rich flora and fauna of Pinares de Mayarí, a paradise located in the mountains of eastern Cuba. You will be able to enjoy a wide selection of panoramic visits that include the impressive Guayabo Falls, as well as get in touch with historical and traditional sites of the life of its inhabitants.
Itinerary:
- Departure by 4x4 jeeps to Mayari, a town located 84 kilometers east of Guardalavaca, on the way you can enjoy the varied landscape and plantation crops,
- On the route, Visit Batey Birán, a rural school where the children of the Castro Family studied, the post office, the cockfights’ ring, panoramic view of the butchery and the cementery,
- After crossing the town of Mayari, the ascent begins at Sierra Cristal on the north side through mountain roads,
- Stop at the Salto El Guayabo for enjoy the landscape from the lookout,
- Visit to the house of a peasant where you can appreciate the coffee plantations in the mountains,
- Continue to Villa Pinares where lunch with a drink included will be held,
- Enjoy the southern landscape of Plateau of Pinares de Mayarí on trip back, appreciating all the attributes of the nature of this ecosystem,
- Return to the hotel.
Departure days: TUESDAY through SUNDAY (December 16, 2024 to April 30, 2025) and TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY (May 1, 2025 to December 15, 2025).

- This tour operates with a minimum of 4 passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the supplier decides to cancel, due to not reaching the minimum number of passengers required, or due to force majeure or bad weather conditions, Holiplus will offer you an alternative or refund, in full, the amount paid.
- Pick-ups may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and the punctuality of the clients. The customer must inform the sales office to avoid any inconvenience.
- Children under 2 years old travel FREE on all excursions. They only pay for the consumption made directly at the facilities.
- Cases of theft and/or loss must be reported by the client to the nearest police station. The supplier is not responsible for belongings left in means of transport and (or) extra-hotel establishments.
- The client must not disassociate himself from the group or the guide who leads them during the tours.
- The order of execution of an excursion can be varied depending on external factors, atmospheric or adjustments for the amount of pax of the day.
- In Jeep excursions, when the client wishes to drive, he/she must carry his/her driver's license. Otherwise, he/she will not be able to do the excursion and it will be considered a no-show.
- Only those over 18 years of age and with a valid driver's license will be allowed to drive the jeeps.
- The jeep is shared with other tourists (up to 4 pax/jeep).
- Jeeps have standard transmission.
- All excursions are guaranteed in English and Spanish. Other languages will be confirmed according to availability.
CANCELLATION AND NO SHOW POLICY:
- Cancellations more than 72 hours before the excursion: No penalty applies.
- Cancellations between 72 hours and 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 50% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- Cancellations less than 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 100% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- NO-SHOW: a penalty of 100% of the total value of the excursion applies.
