We offer a diverse selection for you to taste the highlights of the largest city in the Caribbean, where history and culture stand side by side with monuments. Our Group proposes panoramic tours of the most significant sites in Cuban history, culture and contemporary life. So this is a treat for those seeking some vacation adventures on their Cuba holiday tour.

Itinerary: (tour sequence may vary)

  • Pick up at hotels with specialized guide in the language of the clients,
  • Departure to a former sugar mill in Santa Lucia to take a ride pulled by a 19th-century steam locomotive or in a vintage motor wagon from 1938.
  • Departure to Holguin.
  • Visit the lookout on top of the Hill of the Cross
  • Walk around the colonial squares in the historic center.
  • Lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Take the chance to buy Cuban cigars at a near habano store, before having your leisure-time around the main square.
  • Return to the hotels.

Note: The cigar factory closes on Saturdays and Sundays.

• Recommended: light clothing, sunglasses, hats or caps, tennis, sandals or comfortable shoes, solar protection and photographic camera. • For the tour we recommend a water bottle. • We recommend to bring cash in small denominations for souvenirs, drinks and tips. • Not suitable for people in wheelchairs. • This tour is not available from Playa Covarrubias hotels.

  • This tour operates with a minimum of 11 passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the provider decides to cancel, for not meeting the minimum required amount of passengers, Holiplus will offer an alternative tour or fully refund cost of your trip.
  • The collected may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and punctuality of customers. Customer should be informed on sales desk to avoid disagreements.
  • Frequency of the tour: Monday.

Cancellation and no show policy:

  • Cancellations more than 72 hours before the tour: No penalty applies.
  • Cancellations between 72 hours and 48 hours before the tour: a penalty of 50% of the total value of the excursion applies.
  • Cancellations less than 48 hours before the tour: a penalty of 100% of the total value of the excursion applies.
  • NO-SHOW: a penalty of 100% of the total value of the excursion applies.
