Tour by jeep through the public use area of the Central West Ecological Reserve of Cayo Coco where one of the highest sand dunes of the insular Caribbean and the key is located with 12 meters high and a viewpoint that allows the observation of the extraordinary coastal landscape, with a visit to the Cueva del Jabalí, Loma del Puerto Dunes Trail and La Güira Site, located in the ecological reserve, stay at the ranchón of Playa Prohibida to enjoy the sunset and dinner.
Itinerary
- Pick up by jeep at the hotels according to the established schedule and departure to the nature areas of Cayo Coco.
- Visit to La Guira site.
- Visit to the Cueva del Jabalí, tour of the rooms and liquid included.
- We continue to the dunes of Loma del Puerto, to ascend to the viewpoint in the dunes inside the Reserve.
- Visit to the ranchon of Playa Prohibida, where we will observe the sunset behind the dunes.
- Dinner at the ranchón on Playa Prohibida beach, (may be at another place of your choice according to price),
- Transfer by jeep to the hotels.
• Recommended: light clothing, sunglasses, hats or caps, tennis, sandals or comfortable shoes and photographic camera. • For the tour we recommend a water bottle.

- This tour operates with a minimum of 3 passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the supplier decides to cancel, due to not reaching the minimum number of passengers required, or due to force majeure or bad weather conditions, Holiplus will offer you an alternative or reimburse you, in full, the amount paid.
- The clients on the excursions are accompanied and assisted throughout the tour by specialized driver-guides, who also cover several languages.
- Pick-ups may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and the punctuality of the clients. The client must inform the sales office to avoid any inconvenience.
- A supplement of 10.00 USD per pax will be applied to clients who require professional driver service in the jeep. When the excursion is a single jeep tour the driver is mandatory and is included in the price of the tour, it is not considered a supplement.
- The jeep is shared with other tourists (up to 4 pax/jeep).
- Those who wish to drive must bring their driving license.
- The jeeps have standard transmission.
Cancellation and no show policy:
- Cancellations more than 72 hours before the excursion: No penalty applies.
- Cancellations between 72 hours and 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 25% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- Cancellations less than 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 50% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- NO-SHOW: a penalty of 100% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- Reservation fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
