"ONE DAY IN HAVANA" Bike Tour

In one day, we will explore the beauties and peculiarities of Havana, surrounded by classic vintage cars, bicycle cabs or horse-drawn carts! On our electric bicycles we ride through the places where history, culture, the and the local lifestyle and are waiting to be discovered.

Itinerary

• Our guide is waiting for us with the electric bikes at 10:00 am in the Calle 21 # 507A entre D y E, Vedado (21st Street # 507A between D and E, Vedado district), another meeting point can be organized for groups and individuals)
• We will begin our tour in the direction of the lively and historical Old Havana.
• We will pass through the Callejón de Hamel, the center of Afro-Cuban Santeria in Centro Habana, stopping at La Guarida. The La Guarida restaurant continues to be a highlight of the city, which became known thanks to the film nominated for Oscar "Fresa o Chocolate" (1993), since then, has been on the "Bucketlist" for Havana, both for backpackers, as for celebrities. If you have time in Havana, you should at least make an overnight trip to the terrace bar, to enjoy one or more cocktails, and whoever has a little more time, of course, should also taste their cooking. It is advisable to book a table for dinner in advance, as there is usually a great demand.
• We continue our tour and will make stops at the Capitol, Central Park, Gran Teatro de La Habana, to get into the historical center and its unique style.
• We will stop at the Casa del Perfume, the Castillo de la Real Fuerza; we will ride our e-bicycles through the places with more history of the city, since it is not allowed to drive always, because the streets are somewhat and some of them are pedestrianized. The main squares are: Plaza Vieja, Plaza San Francisco de Asís, Plaza de La Cathedral and Plaza de Armas.
• From there we will head to the Paseo del Prado, driving our electric bikes.
• Lunch will be at a somewhat hidden restaurant in Old Havana or Centro Habana. The specific location will always depend of our speed and the roads we use.
• Of course, during our trips around Havana, we will not miss the Malecón and, starting at the famous Hotel Nacional, we will cross the elegant residential area of Vedado with its diverse architecture.
• We will walk along 23rd Street, not far from the Ramp, to finally reach Paseo Avenue, which leads to the historic Revolution Square. Here, with certain sensitivity, we can feel the atmosphere that must have reigned when Fidel He delivered his eloquent speeches before more than one million Cubans.
• On the way back to the starting point of the excursion, we will make a final stop at an appropriate place, where, with some refreshing drink, perhaps we will comment again on the impressions lived.
