"HAVANA BAY" Bike Tour

The Bahia Tour is the longest tour in the city, with a duration of about 5 and a half hours. In this tour we move away from the most touristic areas of the city. We visit neighborhoods on the other side of the Bay of Havana: Casablanca, Regla and Guanabacoa.

The highlights of Havana can be discovered in the “HAVANA BAY”:

• Visit the Vedado neighborhood, the “Commercial Zone” of the city of Havana, whose construction began in the mid-19th century.
• Visit Old Havana which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982.
• Casa Blanca Ferry, A frequent ferry connects Casablanca with the pier located at the foot of Santa Clara Street in Old Havana.
• Visit the Monument to the Christ of Havana, a sculpture 20 meters high and resting on a base of 3 meters and weighing approximately 320 tons, representing the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the work of Cuban sculptor Jilma Madera.
• Visit the Fortress of San Carlos de La Cabaña, an 18th century fortress located at the entrance to the Bay of Havana, which together with the fortress of La Punta and the Castle of the Royal Havana Force defended the city against any enemy or pirate attack.
• Visit the village of Casa Blanca, located east of the entrance to the port of Havana.

• Visit Guanabacoa, known as “the town of Pepe Antonio” was founded on June 12, 1554 by agreement of the Cabildo of San Cristóbal de La Habana.
• Visit the town of Regla, whose native name was Güaicanamar, meaning “in front of the sea”.

The tour includes:

• a guided service (in Spanish, English or French)
• the use of a comfortable bicycle
• protective helmet
• auxiliary basket for the cyclists' belongings
• rain poncho if necessary
• a 500 ml bottle of water
• a juice or fruit depending on the tour or availability on the route.

The tour does not include:

• Medical insurance or insurance against accidents and damages, under the client's responsibility.
• Entrance fee to places of interest.
• Other meals and beverages.
• Tips.

Departure days of the tour: MONDAY TO SATURDAY (Except December 31 and January 1).
