DEEP SEA FISHING OR TROLLING IN PLAYA ANCÓN, TRINIDAD: Set out on an unforgettable adventure in the Caribbean waters off Playa Ancón, near the charming colonial city of Trinidad, one of Cuba’s most beautiful coastal destinations. The area offers ideal conditions for deep-sea fishing or trolling all year round, thanks to its calm yet vibrant marine ecosystem that attracts a variety of sought-after game fish. During this experience, you’ll sail aboard a fully equipped 33-foot or 41-foot motor yacht, departing from Marina Marlin Trinidad, located on the southern coast of Cuba. The journey takes you into the open waters of the Caribbean Sea, where you’ll enjoy a day filled with excitement, sea breeze, and the thrill of the catch.
Fishing is done with artificial bait, and although it is available year-round, each species has its peak season or “run.” Among the most common catches are:
- Castero (July–September on the northwestern shelf; September–November on the northeastern shelf)
- Emperor fish (late February to early April)
- Wahoo (late October to early December)
- Marlin (Aguja) (late May to early July)
- Sierra and Serrucho (mainly July)
- Bonito, Albacore, and Yellowfin Tuna, which can be caught all year, with the best chances in spring (around May)
While fishing, you’ll be accompanied by a skilled captain and crew member, who will guide you through the process and share local fishing knowledge. The excursion includes all fishing gear, an open bar with national drinks, and several hours of sailing and fishing in one of Cuba’s most scenic maritime regions. The prices are expressed per boat, where up to 4 anglers can go with available tackle and a number of companions up to the capacity of the boat, they include:

- This excursion operates with a minimum number of passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your excursion. If the provider decides to cancel, due to force majeure or bad weather conditions, Holiplus will offer you an alternative excursion or fully reimburse the cost of your excursion.

Cancellation Policy
- In case of cancellation up to 72 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion fare will be charged.
- Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied.
- Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied.
- Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
