The community of Las Terrazas, is located in the Sierra del Rosario, one of the natural fortresses of Cuba, declared a Biosphere Reserve by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1985. Arriving at Las Terrazas is like entering the intensity of the exquisite wild places where human beings and nature merge. This is the impression given by the evergreen forests, rivers and waterfalls of crystalline waters. To enter the community is to have the certainty that beautiful places really exist and that human efforts to protect the natural environment persist.
The history of coffee cultivation, which began in the region in the 19th century, is one of the main attractions for customers at the Buenavista restaurant, built on the ruins of the coffee farm of the same name, founded by the French.
Soroa, also known as the Rainbow of Cuba, is a privileged place for the conservation of the richness, variety and excellence of its flora and fauna. This site has the largest orchid garden in the country, where more than 750 different varieties of orchids and several species of ferns have found a pleasant refuge. This colorful garden is a paradise for orchid lovers. Don't miss the spectacular 22-meter high waterfall that invites you to take a refreshing bath at any time of the year.

- Explanation of the Las Terrazas Social Project.
- Visit to the Las Terrazas Community.
- Coffee tasting.
- Visit to the Buenavista coffee plantation, a 19th-century coffee estate.
- Transfer to Soroa.
- Visit to the 22-meter-high natural waterfall.
- Visit to the Orchidarium, home to more than 300 varieties of orchids.
- Return to Las Terrazas and, subject to availability, to the restaurant for a traditional Cuban family-style meal.
- Tour of the community and its residents.
- Visit to local artists.
- Coffee tasting.
- Enjoy the natural beauty and sulfurous waters of the San Juan River with a farewell cocktail.
- Return to the hotel.

Important
For this excursion, transport with driver is required to visit the distant points of interest and after the return of the guide to Las Terrazas.

- Recommended: light clothing, swimwear, sunglasses, hats or caps, hard tennis or hiking boots or sandals, other protective layers for seasons rain, solar protection and photographic camera.

- Pick-ups may be delayed by a few minutes depending on the punctuality of the customers.
- Excursions with departures from other destinations if booked for only 1 pax will pay the transport supplement for 2 pax.
- This tour operates with a minimum of 2 passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the provider decides to cancel, for reasons of force majeure or adverse weather conditions, Holiplus will offer an alternative tour or fully refund cost of your trip.
- In case of force majeure the reservation may be cancelled or postponed to another date subject to availability.
- Level of complexity: Low.
- Once the reservation is made you will receive in your email address the voucher with the information you have chosen. If you can, print the voucher to present it to your tour guide.
- Pick-ups may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and the punctuality of the clients. The client must inform the sales office to avoid any inconvenience.
Cancellation and No Show Policy:
- In case of cancellation up to 96 hours before the start of the excursion, no penalty will be applied to the price of the tour.
- Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied.
- Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied.
- Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
