An adventure to La Gran Piedra, huge volcanic rock, 51 meters long and 25-30 meters wide, with an estimated weight of 63,000 tons, located on top of a mountain at 1225 meters above the sea level. Natural lookout where you can see the Sierra Maestra. To ascend to the stone, the visitor is confronted with the exciting adventure of climbing, shrouded in dense fog, 452 steps, escorted by a dense vegetation of ferns, orchids and other species, which perfume the air. At the Museum "The Isabelica" you will find one of the traces left by French immigrants in this area, coffee culture and a legacy of traditions. Just a kilometer is the Bird of Paradise Botanical Garden, where exceptionally cultivated species such as bird of paradise, dahlias, magnolias and other cold climates, building microclimate prevailing in the area.

- Departure from the hotel by taxi, jeep or air-conditioned bus with a guide specialized in the language of the clients,
- Enjoy the lush vegetation of the Sierra Maestra,
- Visit the Botanic Garden Ave del Paraíso,
- Visit to La Isabelica museum, the ruins of a former French settlement,
- Ascent to La Gran Piedra mountain range and its viewpoint,
- Visit to the Prado de las Esculturas de la Fundación Caguayo.
- Return to the hotels.

Customer should be informed on sales desk to avoid disagreements. • Minimum pax for the tour: 3 Pax. • This tour operates with a minimum of passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the provider decides to cancel, for not meeting the minimum required amount of passengers, Holiplus will offer an alternative tour or fully refund cost of your trip.
General conditions:
- Children from 0 to 2 years old are free on conventional tours.
- Children from 3 to 12 years old have a 50% discount on the tours, in correspondence with the price for the range of clients. Children do not have a minimum age for excursions.
- Children up to 18 years of age do not have access to cabaret and disco nightclubs.
- Departure time for tours is 9.00 am for those tours that are not required.
Cancellation and no show policy:
- Cancellations must be made before 48 hrs prior to the enjoyment of the tour and 100% of the value of the tour will be refunded.
- Cancellations between 48 hrs and 12.00 hrs prior to the enjoyment of the tour will be penalized with 50% of the value of the tour.
- If the client does not show up at the departure time of the tour (no show), 100% of the value of the tour will be deducted.
- The cancellation of the service due to force majeure does not entail a penalty and the client will be refunded 100% of the amount paid.
