The famous American writer Ernest Hemingway lived part of his life in the Cuban capital, which would be captivated by her beauty and would be a source of inspiration for some of his novels. This half day tour will allow you to Hemingway 's favorite places specifically located in the city center. La Bodeguita del Medio is one of the selected locations. It is one of the most internationally recognized Cuban restaurants both traditional Creole food offered and the originality of its decoration, and where the writer liked to take mojitos. Another place to visit is the restaurant-bar El Floridita where Hemingway spends countless hours sitting at the bar enjoying his favorite drink a Daiquiri. In this bar and as supporting one elbow on the bar, was built a sculpture in his honor in 1954. Also meet one of the most important places in the life of the writer, that is, the Hotel Ambos Mundos. In this 4-star hotel, the American novelist would be a long period of almost 10 years in one of its rooms, now converted into a small museum. Here Hemingway wrote one of his most renowned novel, "For Whom the Bell Tolls". Finally the optional you can visit the – Museum- farm Vigia, where the writer lived and worked until the end of his days. You can find here a house full of memories and absorb the creative atmosphere of this literary genius.
