Soroa, also known as the Cuban Rainbow, is located in the limits of the mountainous elevations of the Sierra del Rosario about 70 kilometers to the west of Pinar del Río, belonging to the Cordillera de Guaniguanico, municipality Candelaria in the province of Artemisa, in the small valley that forms the Manantiales river. Soroa, Natural place of great beauty and variety, considered a Biosphere Reserve in western Cuba by the UNESCO. Visitors from all over the world come to this wonderful place to admire and enjoy the beautiful work that nature created in this abrupt place, surrounded by mountains and rivers. It’s a place privileged by the wealth, variety and excellent conservation of its flora and fauna. This site boasts the largest orchid garden in the country, where more than 750 different varieties of orchids and multiple species of ferns have found a nice shelter. This colorful garden is like the haven for serious orchids enthusiasts. You should not miss the stunning waterfall of 21 meters high that invites visitors to take a refreshing swim any time of the year.

• The waterfall El Salto de Soroa with 22 meters high, this caused by the Manantiales River is one of the wonders of Cuban geography. It is one of the busiest places because from the top a portentous view is contemplated.
• The Castle of the Clouds is a medieval building that rises on the hill of El Fuerte, inside are preserved several items purchased at European auctions belonging to real medieval castles. From its front terrace you get a magnificent view of the Sierra del Rosario and the beautiful southern plain of Pinar del Río.
• El Mirador is an elevation, 250 meters above sea level, a balcony par excellence from which you get one of the best views of the Sierra del Rosario.
• The Orchid Garden of Soroa, this peculiar garden was made up only of orchids, importing for them exotic varieties of Asia, Central and South America, and many native ones with the years the garden was growing and specializing in orchids, today it lodges in its 35 000 square meters, more than 20,000 copies of 700 species of this coveted flower, being the largest orchid in the country and one of the most important worldwide.

• This experience will be realized in classic hard top car, model: Chevrolet Deluxe 1950 (Sedan 4 doors) / Plymouth Deluxe 1955 (Sedan 4 doors) / Fort Victoria 1955 (Sedan 4 doors) / Oldsmobile Model 88 1954 (Sedan 4 doors) or similar (Classic), with air conditioning and with professional driver and guide in English and Spanish language (optional).

Maximum Pax for the tour: 4 Pax in American classic car (with driver-guide service) or 8 Pax in microbus (with driver-guide service).

Distance to cover in the tour by car (round trip): 169 km approximately.

End of the tour schedule and start of the trip back to Havana: 17.00 hrs.
