Ancón Beach, is an ideal place to enjoy quiet sea baths, tanning and all kinds of facilities for water sports and snorkeling, making it a must and one of the most visited places in the area.

This wonderful beach offers us excellent sea beds in which to contemplate the coral reef. In addition, it has an important archaeological reserve in which lie countless boats and sunken galleons that date back to the time of the corsairs and pirates who sailed in the south of the Caribbean Sea. If you are a lover of marine sports, at Club Amigo Ancón Hotel is one of the main diving centers in Cuba, with more than 20 dive sites. Its well-deserved fame is due to the impressive archaeological remains found in this area, as well as the great variety of coral reefs. Its seabed is full of accidents, sponges, black corals, tunnels, as well as remains of galleons and boats from the colonial era, when corsairs and pirates tried to attack the town.
