The Bacardi Rum factory was founded in Santiago de Cuba in 1862 by Don Facundo Bacardi Masso. The story goes that this old warehouse was inhabited by bats, hence the Bacardi Rum logo. The factory prospered incredibly at the beginning of the 20th century so Don Emilio established a new distillery that is still standing today.

Customer should be informed on sales desk to avoid disagreements. • This tour operates with a minimum of passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the provider decides to cancel, for not meeting the minimum required amount of passengers, Holiplus will offer an alternative tour or fully refund cost of your trip.
General conditions:
- Children from 0 to 2 years old are free on conventional tours.
- Children from 3 to 12 years old have a 50% discount on the tours, in correspondence with the price for the range of clients. Children do not have a minimum age for excursions.
- Children up to 18 years of age do not have access to cabaret and disco nightclubs.
- Departure time for tours is 9.00 am for those tours that are not required.
Cancellation and no show policy:
- Cancellations must be made before 48 hrs prior to the enjoyment of the tour and 100% of the value of the tour will be refunded.
- Cancellations between 48 hrs and 12.00 hrs prior to the enjoyment of the tour will be penalized with 50% of the value of the tour.
- If the client does not show up at the departure time of the tour (no show), 100% of the value of the tour will be deducted.
- The cancellation of the service due to force majeure does not entail a penalty and the client will be refunded 100% of the amount paid.
