Your day begins aboard a luxurious 33-foot or 41-foot motor yacht, departing from the Marina Marlin, located on the western side of Varadero. As you head out to sea, the crew will prepare the artificial trolling lines to attract a wide variety of fish that inhabit these rich Cuban waters.
Although fishing is possible year-round, each species has its special season or “run”:
- Castero (Crevalle Jack): July to September on the northwestern shelf and September to November on the northeastern coast.
- Emperor (Red Snapper): Late February to early April, mostly on the northwestern shelf.
- Wahoo: Late October to early December.
- Marlin: Late May to early July, offering some of the most exciting catches.
- Sierra and Serrucho (Mackerel): Best in July on the northwestern shelf.
- Bonito, Albacore, and Yellowfin Tuna: Available throughout the year, though most abundant in early spring (May).
During your fishing trip, you’ll have access to all fishing gear, including rods, reels, and tackle, as well as an open bar with national drinks to keep you refreshed while you wait for your next big catch. The prices are expressed per boat, where up to 4 anglers can go with available tackle and a number of companions up to the capacity of the boat, they include:

- This excursion operates with a minimum number of passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your excursion. If the provider decides to cancel, due to force majeure or bad weather conditions, Holiplus will offer you an alternative excursion or fully reimburse the cost of your excursion.

Cancellation Policy
- In case of cancellation up to 72 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion fare will be charged.
- Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied.
- Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied.
- Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
