On this trip you will visit the Yumuri River Canyon, the scenic value of the place is enchanting, the height of the canyon walls and its rock formations that have survived time and climate, its plants and trees that cover part of the canyon and the river banks. This place is one of the zones of Cuba with greater endemism in its species, being great part of these natural ones of the region. In Baracoa, the chorote is elaborated, based on the dry fruit of the cacao being a delicious thick chocolate, highly valued by its excellent properties. Baracoa is tidy in cocoa and coconut fields, which is why the food prepared by its inhabitants has these two elements as basic for its preparation, besides being food well away from the sophisticated diets of the visitor.

- Departure from our office to the Yumurí River.
- Specialized guide service.
- Visit of its beautiful canyon in the traditional cayuca (typical boat of the zone).
- On the way you will visit the fishing village of Manglito to observe the preparation of CHOROTE, the name given in the area to the pure chocolate that comes from its cocoa plantations.
- Time for swimming in the beach.
- Recommended: light clothing, swimwear, sunglasses, water, hats or caps, hard tennis or hiking boots and sandals to cross the river, other protective layers for seasons rain, solar protection and photographic camera.

- Minimum pax for the tour: 5 Pax.
- This tour operates without a minimum of passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the provider decides to cancel, for reasons of force majeure or adverse weather conditions, Holiplus will offer an alternative tour or fully refund cost of your trip.
- The collected may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and punctuality of customers. Customer should be informed on sales desk to avoid disagreements.
- Level of complexity: Medium-High.
- The Jeep must be shared with other tourist (4 pax / jeep).
General conditions:
- Children from 0 to 2 years old are free on conventional tours.
- Children from 3 to 12 years old have a 50% discount on the tours, in correspondence with the price for the range of clients. Children do not have a minimum age for excursions.
- Children up to 18 years of age do not have access to cabaret and disco nightclubs.
- Departure time for tours is 9.00 am for those tours that are not required.
Cancellation and no show policy:
- Cancellations must be made before 48 hrs prior to the enjoyment of the tour and 100% of the value of the tour will be refunded.
- Cancellations between 48 hrs and 12.00 hrs prior to the enjoyment of the tour will be penalized with 50% of the value of the tour.
- If the client does not show up at the departure time of the tour (no show), 100% of the value of the tour will be deducted.
- The cancellation of the service due to force majeure does not entail a penalty and the client will be refunded 100% of the amount paid.
