“PERUVIAN COOKING CLASS AND LOCAL MARKET“ Tour (WITH EXOTIC FRUIT TASTING)
Discover the true flavors of Peru with our traditional Peruvian cooking experience in Lima, perfect for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in local culture through food.
Our professional tour guide will pick you up and take you to an authentic local market in the Surquillo district—one of Lima’s most vibrant places to discover the essence of Peruvian cuisine. There, you will meet the chef who will accompany you throughout the experience. Together as a group, you will decide on one starter and one main dish that you will later prepare during the cooking class.
We will walk through the different market stalls while the guide explains the origins, traditions, and cultural importance of Peruvian ingredients. You will learn about exotic fruits, Andean tubers, chili varieties, herbs, and the many local products that make Peruvian cuisine one of the most celebrated in the world. With the chef’s guidance, you will select only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients for the dishes you will prepare.
Once we finish shopping, we will head to our kitchen in Miraflores—an inviting and fully equipped space designed especially for cooking experiences. There, your hands-on culinary adventure begins:
✔ Tasting of traditional Peruvian snacks ✔ Peruvian fruit festival (with seasonal fruits) ✔ Preparation of the selected starter ✔ Preparation of the main dish with step-by-step guidance from the chef
The class is interactive and perfect for food lovers, beginner cooks, or anyone wanting to explore new flavors and enjoy a truly authentic experience in Lima.
