Itinerary

Local Market in Surquillo

We begin our journey in the colorful and welcoming Surquillo Market, a favorite spot among locals who appreciate fresh and truly authentic products. Here, you will taste a wide variety of exotic fruits brought from Peru’s three natural regions: the coast, the highlands, and the rainforest. Each fruit carries its own unique aroma, flavor, and texture, and your guide will explain its origin and culinary uses.

You will also have the chance to choose between two iconic Peruvian dishes:

  • A refreshing and creamy Causa Limeña, or
  • A freshly prepared Ceviche, bursting with citrusy flavors and vibrant freshness.

Local Market in Surco

Next, we visit the traditional Santiago de Surco Market, famous across Lima for its incredible selection of Amazonian products and fresh exotic fruit juices prepared right in front of you.

This is the perfect place to explore the rich culinary traditions of Peru’s rainforest, with the opportunity to try dishes such as:

  • Juane: seasoned rice wrapped in bijao leaf, traditionally served with chicken or regional ingredients.
  • Chaufa de Cecina: a flavorful fried rice with the smoky, savory taste of Amazonian cured meat.

All dishes are prepared using fresh, authentic, and organic ingredients straight from the Amazon.

Get ready for a truly unique and surprising experience, filled with new flavors and fascinating stories that highlight the cultural diversity of Peru.

Ugarelli Vineyard

The adventure continues at the historic Ugarelli Vineyard, also located in Surco. This is one of the few vineyards that still preserves its long-standing traditions and strong cultural identity.

Ugarelli specializes in producing young dry, semi-dry, and sweet wines, as well as artisanal pisco and macerated wines—essential beverages for any authentic Peruvian winery.

During your visit, you will have the chance to explore the facilities, learn about the family’s winemaking heritage, and taste a variety of wines and spirits that reflect the richness, dedication, and passion of this artisanal tradition.
