"THE LIMA'S COLORS & FLAVORS, FOOD AND ART" Tour
CHORRILLOS – TRADITIONAL FISHING TOWN
Your local guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to one of Lima’s most traditional and authentic districts: Chorrillos, a seaside community whose identity has been shaped for generations by its deep-rooted fishing heritage.
We begin at the Artisanal Fish Market, the heart of daily life for local fishermen. Here you’ll watch the morning catch arrive, learn about Peru’s extraordinary variety of seafood, and sample some delicious fresh bites—just a taste to open your appetite, because there is much more ahead.
We continue to La Paradita, a vibrant street market where locals shop for their everyday ingredients. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the true spirit of Lima, mingle with residents, explore colorful stalls, and try authentic Peruvian street food prepared on the spot.
Next, we head to a family-run local restaurant to savor a curated selection of traditional dishes, snacks, and flavors that showcase the diversity of Peru’s coastal cuisine. Expect fresh seafood, bold seasonings, and dishes prepared following generations-old recipes.
BARRANCO – THE TRENDY & BOHEMIAN DISTRICT
Our journey continues to Barranco, Lima’s most bohemian and artistic neighborhood. Known for its creative energy, this eclectic district is filled with trendy cafés, stylish boutiques, bars, and contemporary art galleries.
As we stroll through its colorful streets, you’ll admire stunning murals painted by renowned Peruvian and international artists, transforming Barranco into one of the most vibrant open-air art galleries in the city.
We will visit the district’s most iconic landmarks, including the famous Bridge of Sighs, wrapped in romantic legends, and the picturesque Bajada de Baños walkway, a charming path that descends toward the ocean, surrounded by art, music, and local character.
Join us as we explore the flavors, colors, and creative spirit of Lima’s most authentic districts—an unforgettable journey blended with culture, gastronomy, and local life.
