Policies and Conditions

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE FLIGHTS:

  • The airline shall have the right to deny transportation to persons and/or their baggage, when in accordance with the applicable regulations it determines that this could imply a risk or danger, or that the transportation of such persons, baggage and/or belongings is prohibited by applicable legal provisions or restrictions. To this end, the airline may check the persons, their luggage and/or belongings that will be carried on board the aircraft.
  • The passenger is responsible for bringing with him/her at the time of the flight documentation all the corresponding personal documentation complete and in force and to comply with the provisions on customs, immigration, health, police and other provisions that are applicable to allow them to leave the country, as well as the entry to the country or countries of destination, as well as in the places where, if any, will come to make stopovers.
  • The airline will check that all the passengers' documentation is in order prior to the operation of the flight, reserving at all times the right to deny boarding in the event that any of them does not comply with any applicable rules or regulations without liability for the airline.
  • The airline assumes no responsibility for the cost of ground transportation of passengers, luggage, food consumption, lodging or any other concept, which is due to the interruption of its itinerary, whether caused by weather, air traffic, etc.. These expenses shall be covered by the passenger.

RATES. CANCELLATION AND CHANGE CONDITIONS:

  • All rates include airport taxes.
  • Some fares and promotions do not apply on long weekends and/or holidays.
  • In case of purchasing only one route (One Way), the passenger must bring his/her return ticket with him/her on the day of the flight, to present it at the time of Check In at the airport, in case he/she is requested to do so.
  • The reservation will be valid only for the date it was purchased; therefore, the passenger is obliged to cover an additional charge if he/she changes the date, flight, or cancels it. Whether the aforementioned changes are allowed depends on how far in advance they are requested. If the change of date or route is confirmed, an extra charge will apply.
  • Name changes are not allowed, the ticket can only be used by the ticket holder.
  • If the client requests the cancellation of his reservation, a 100% penalty will be applied, except for reservations that at the time of purchase have different cancellation conditions to those stated here.
  • In case of No Show, a 100% penalty will apply.
  • If the passenger does not use his/her ticket or does not make any change before the departure of the flight, the ticket will not be valid on another date.
  • The company may cancel, without prior notice, a flight or a reservation, with no obligation other than to refund the tickets or a portion of the tickets that have not been used.
  • In the event of a flight change caused by the airline's operations, you will be informed via the e-mail address you provided when making your reservation.
  • Refunds will be made only to the person who purchased the ticket, ticket or issued to order, which will provide the original payment documents, for this you should contact the seller or office through which you made the purchase of the ticket.

BAGGAGE CONDITIONS:

  • NO CARGO SERVICE IS OFFERED.
  • The airline is not responsible for damage or loss of valuables, such as coins, jewelry, precious stones, art objects, documents, shares and negotiable certificates, electronic devices, photographic or video equipment, or items of easy decomposition, which are not considered as baggage and are transported without the knowledge or consent of the Company.
  • All baggage claims must be made before leaving the airport.
  • Valuable items will remain in the custody of the passenger on board the aircraft. The airline is not responsible for their removal, damage or loss.
  • The airline is not responsible for damage to baggage such as scratches, stains, etc., resulting from the handling of the baggage.
  • In the event of a baggage exchange, the control of the exchanged bag is immediately tracked in the passenger's reservation database in order to coordinate the location and delivery of the baggage.
  • In the event of any damage to the baggage, an evaluation of the baggage will have to be made and its shipment to a specialized place for repair will be coordinated, with the respective damage report.
  • Lost luggage will be traced and if it is not located in less than 30 working days, it will be settled as required by law.

DIMENSIONS ALLOWED FOR BAGGAGE:

  • Hand baggage: One (1) piece is allowed. Maximum weight of 8 KG (17 lbs). Maximum dimensions are 55 cm (21 in) x 35 cm (13 in) x 25 cm (9 in) (width, height and depth). Additional charges may apply if your suitcase exceeds the allowed dimensions and weight limits.
  • Checked-in Baggage: Your checked-in baggage allowance depends on your itinerary. In general, one checked-in piece may not exceed 23 KG (50 lbs). Our baggage policy for Paramaribo to Cuba allows you to check in one suitcase with a maximum weight of 30KG (66 lbs) free of charge. Size Dimension: 158 cm. (62 in) (length + height + width). There will be additional charges if the checked-in baggage weight and dimension exceeds its maximum limit.
  • Special Baggage: Surfboards, shelves, musical instruments and bikes and all other odd size items are not accepted as normal baggage. Musical instruments are not included in the passenger’s free baggage allowance and are accepted as excess baggage if space is available. Make sure that the special baggage reservation is confirmed prior to departure to ensure that you take your special baggage with you
