Overview

Tahai in English means where the sun goes down. In this place you will be able to see the greatest natural spectacle of the whole island. When the sun sets it does it right behind the moais of Ahu Vai Uriestos and illuminates these stone giants forming a spectacular image of light and color.

Itinerary

  • Departure from our hotel in Easter Island around 19:00 hrs. (depending on winter or summer schedule) to enjoy the sunset at Tahai.
  • This is undoubtedly one of the best places to appreciate the sunset in Easter Island. We will enjoy a unique experience, an excellent way to end the day in Rapa Nui.
  • Finally, we will return to our hotel in Easter Island.
