Itinerary
- Departure from the hotel in San Pedro de Atacama towards Chaxa Lagoon, a scenery of spectacular beauty that is divided into several water mirrors where a large number of flamingos and other birds such as large and small parakeets live.
- Then we head towards the Altiplano to get to the Piedras Rojas viewpoint, where you will be able to observe a volcanic conglomerate formed from the oxidation of the iron present in that place.
- Later we will visit the Miscanti and Miñiques lagoons at more than 4,200 meters above sea level. Surrounded by imposing volcanoes originated by the elevation of the Andes Mountains, and habitat of a great variety of birds, they are a truly amazing destination.
- Finish your trip in the town of Toconao, where we will visit the main square, the bell tower built in 1750 with adobe and cactus wood, and the church of San Lucas, both declared National Monuments since 1951.
- Return to the hotel.
