INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS & ARRIVAL RECOMMENDATION:

  • We strongly recommend that clients arrange their international flights to arrive at the starting point of the program at least one day before the scheduled tour departure date and, when applicable, depart at least one day after the program ends.
  • The Tour Operator and Travel Agency cannot be held responsible for any failure to provide scheduled services resulting from delayed, cancelled, or otherwise disrupted international flights that prevent clients from arriving at the scheduled departure point on time. Any additional costs resulting from such circumstances will be the responsibility of the client.

CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICY:

Clients may cancel their confirmed services at any time. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed after deduction of the cancellation fees and other non-refundable charges imposed by the service providers. Unless cancellation is due to duly documented and recognized force majeure, the following cancellation penalties will apply:

  • 25 to 7 days before the service: 75% cancellation penalty.
  • 6 to 1 day before the service: 100% cancellation penalty.
  • No-show: Failure of the passenger to appear at the designated time and location will be considered a rendered service, with no refund applicable.

CANCELLATION DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS:

  • If an excursion or activity must be cancelled due to adverse weather or unsafe operating conditions, the service may be rescheduled or refunded, depending on the circumstances and on whether the activity was cancelled before departure or after it had already begun.
  • Any refund will be subject to the specific conditions established by the service provider.

TRAVEL RECOMMENDATIONS:

  • We strongly recommend that clients purchase comprehensive travel and medical insurance, including appropriate coverage for the activities included in the itinerary, as well as trip cancellation and baggage coverage.
  • We recommend wearing light, comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear, as well as short-sleeved shirts, shorts, hats or caps, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
  • Swimwear is recommended for activities involving rivers, streams, natural pools, or beaches.
  • Clients should check the weather forecast for the regions included in the itinerary before departure and pack appropriate clothing and footwear according to the expected conditions.
  • Madagascar can experience strong sun and high levels of UV exposure. Clients should bring and regularly use high-SPF sunscreen, as well as other appropriate sun protection.

  • Medical facilities may be limited in remote areas of Madagascar, and access to specialized medical care may require travel to larger towns or cities.     Ramena Beach is located directly at the village of Ramena, 18 kilometres from Diego Suarez, at the entrance of Diego Suarez Bay - the second largest natural bay in the world. The beach is very popular among the day visitors of Diego town, especially on weekends. Ramena Beach is several kilometres long with a number of hotels and small local restaurants spread along the beach. At the south end of the beach there is mangrove vegetation. This is a small lively fishing village in northern Madagascar. This place is known as a popular destination for swimming and relaxing on the beach.

    TSINGY ROUGE

    The red tsingy are located in the north of the island, about 50 km from Diego Suarez. The Tsingy can be reached within an hour via a sand road. Compared to the Tsingy de Bemaraha in the west, the red Tsingy are made of sandstone and not limestone and are therefore much more sensitive. The reddish colour is given to this formation of hundreds of peaks from the red laterite earth, which is so typical for Madagascar. The peaks of the Tsingy rouge are up to 10 meters high and shine in various shades of red.The Tsingy rouge are located in a gorge where more and more tsingy appear due to erosion, but also tsingy disappear due to wind and water erosion. So this formtion changes again and again and makes it especially interesting.

    Ankarana is a special reserve located about 90 kilometres south of Antsiranana and can be easily visited from there. The reserve is not very big and is primarily known for the Tsingy. Tsingy are calcareous rock structures that rise razor sharp from the ground. Over thousands of years they have been transformed from rainwater into their present What can we do there?
