Your journey today will bring you from Havana to Santa Clara. In Santa Clara you will visit the historic Che Guevara Museum and Memorial. After breakfast, we will depart early in the morning to explore the El Cubano Natural Park located in the foothills of the Sierra del Escambray and at the gates of the mythical colonial city of Trinidad. Numerous birds and plants of extraordinary beauty inhabit this park. You will have some time to refresh yourself under an impressive blue waterfall of crystalline waters, which we will approach during part of the hike. This is generally a low grade hike, so you will still have plenty of energy for your afternoon guided tour of the city of Trinidad. This beautiful and historic city of Trinidad, which was declared a world heritage city, will leave you some time to visit at your leisure the Romantic Museum of Trinidad and enjoy a refreshing typical cocktail at the famous bar “La Canchánchara”. In the late afternoon and evening you will have free time at your disposal. Overnight accommodation will be in a private home of a local Cuban family. In the evening, we recommend a visit to the "Casa de la Trova" or the "Las Cuevas Disco" (optional).

Before leaving the colonial city of Trinidad for the drive to the beautiful city of Cienfuegos, known worldwide as “The Pearl of the South”, we will have some time to enjoy some of Trinidad's secret charms. After departure, you will make your way for just over an hour to the sunny seaside city of Cienfuegos, where you will have time in the afternoon for a guided, walking tour of the bustling city. Cienfuegos is known for its neoclassical architecture. The Palacio de Valle is a particularly striking building with Gothic, Venetian and neoclassical influences. Tonight you are staying in a Casa Particular in Cienfuegos and will enjoy the lively nightlife of the emblematic city, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site years ago.

The first destination of the day is the Laguna del Tesoro on the peninsula Zapata. You will go on a boat tour on the so called "Treasure Lake" before heading further west. You will overnight in Soroa, located in the majestic Sierra del Rosario mountain range. Spend the night nestled amid nature at the wonderful Villa Soroa.

Today you can explore the island by bike! The cycle route will take you through dreamlike landscapes as you ride from Soroa to San Diego de los Baños. Tonight you will stay at the outstanding Hotel Mirador de San Diego.

Scenery:
The spectacular and unique Mogotes await you! The bike route takes you through the green and picturesque Viñales Valley, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your bike ride will take you very close to the tobacco fields and sugar cane plantations (approx. 25 km). At the end of the tour you can stop for a short break and visit the fascinating Cueva del Indio, to enjoy an optional boat ride through a subway river, full of stories and legends.

Today you will go on a hike in the famous tobacco region in the west of Cuba, the Viñales Valley, one of the most beautiful natural landscapes on the island. This is where the legendary Cuban tobacco grows between the cliffs and rocks of the steep coast. You will visit a tobacco farmer and learn more about this famous Cuban plant.

Today we will travel by bus, beyond the tobacco fields and sugar cane plantations, to one of the westernmost points of the island - Maria La Gorda, nestled in the Guanacahabibes Peninsula National Park. The paradise of María La Gorda beach offers you the opportunity to relax and forget all your worries while enjoying the beautiful sea of spectacular turquoise blue tones and all the extraordinary wonders hidden in the depths of this Caribbean Sea, undoubtedly one of the most renowned sites in Cuba for scuba diving and snorkeling. In addition to the 20-kilometre-long beach, there are also many hiking trails to discover on the peninsula. And there is also plenty to see underwater. Maria La Gorda is home to one of the longest coral reefs in the world. Enjoy a relaxing night at the magnificent CIB María La Gorda Hotel.
