Salome’ s house, our mixed-race Cuban-French daughter offers an independent room with two balconies and a view of the Mogotes. The room comes with hot/cold water thermostat, a minibar, a safe for the security of your personal belongings, air-conditioning or two fans for your comfort but also with a small Jacuzzi, an oven for your barbecue and a very welcoming bar with a wide range of rum “arrangé” – cocktails with rum and mangos, litchi, papaya, Madagascar vanilla …

Alcoholic drinks, beers, wine, soft drinks and water are not included but are cheap. (the menu of home-made tapas and cocktails will be given on request)

Vinales offers a vast array of activities like horse-riding, draft-ox cart ride or simply walking – you will appreciate a natural pool in a cave with a guide speaking Spanish, English or German. You can also a bicycle ride to discover the magnificent landscape of the valley of Vinales with its numerous tobacco and coffee plantations. We can also organize a visit of our botanical garden in the heart of the Mogotes valley – currently only reserved to our guests.

In Vinales, you will find several hotels with an accessible swimming-pool, the Rebaloso river, a white sand beach with clear water at 40 miles. We can lend you the equipment for snorkeling and help you to go there by bus, shared taxi or rent an old convertible car with driver at a company owned by our French friend. If you want to go scubadiving, Maria La Gorda – one of the most beautiful diving site worldwide is about 3 hours from Vinales. You will have the opportunity to dive in 28 spots from 2 to 65 meters deep.
