In 1971 there is the picturesque community of Las Terrazas, located in the province of Artemisa, Sustainable Rural Resort nestled within the Biosphere Reserve, Sierra del Rosario, first of its kind established in Cuba by UNESCO, has an area of 25 hectares of mountains, plains and mountain valleys, the area is characterized by extensive biodiversity of ecosystems.
On the tour, you will appreciate the customs of the rural community to go through the town Santa Fe, Rancho Curujey and includes the ruins of Cafetal Buenavista. Creole taste a typical lunch and swim in the crystal clear waters of the Rio San Juan.
Itinerary
- Departure from hotels in Jeep or specialized car in the desired place.

- Panoramic tour and nature observation until arriving at the tourist complex LAS TERRAZAS, a destination where history and nature are combined. Here you can visit the Buena Vista coffee plantation, the Curujey Ranch and other options of the destination.
- At Rancho Curujey, you will enjoy a welcome cocktail.
- Visit to the Buenavista coffee plantation, a partially restored 19th century coffee plantation.
- Visit to the Moka Hotel, one of the most charming and unique hotels in Cuba.
- Typical Creole lunch at any of the restaurants of the Las Terrazas Complex.
- Visit to the San Juan River and time for swimming.
- Return to the hotel.

- This tour operates with no minimum number of passengers. If the supplier decides to cancel due to force majeure or bad weather conditions, Holiplus will offer you an alternative tour or refund, in full, the cost of your tour.
- Clients on excursions are accompanied and assisted throughout the tour by specialized driver-guides, who cover several languages.
- Pick-ups may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and the punctuality of the clients. The client must inform the sales office to avoid any inconvenience.
- The jeep is shared with other tourists (up to 4 pax/jeep).
- Those who wish to drive must bring their driving license.
- Jeeps have standard transmission.
Cancellation and no show policy:
- Cancellations more than 72 hours before the excursion: No penalty applies.
- Cancellations between 72 hours and 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 25% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- Cancellations less than 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 50% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- NO-SHOW: a penalty of 100% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- Reservation fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
