We propose that you live a truly unique experience at the Agro-ecological and Medicinal Plants Farm, located only 1 km from the Horizontes Soroa Hotel. We invite you to learn about our experience in the use of organic methods for cultivation while enjoying a beautiful country setting surrounded by vegetation and bird songs.
This was created with the purpose of planting plants with medicinal properties, taking advantage of the temperature changes that occur in the mountain area, which are used as a supply for pharmaceutical companies. It has plantations of about 75 species of medicinal plants, about 150 species of fruit trees, 300 varieties of orchids, as well as other plant species.
This is a family project where its members share the tasks and give special attention to the work in the field. During your visit you can make your contribution in the daily tasks and in this way learn and know the importance of the care and conservation of these plants. In addition, you will have a bibliography related mainly to issues concerning the cultivation and protection of medicinal plants.
At the end of the tour you will be able to enjoy delicious natural juices, coffee, tea or infusions and candies made from local fruits. This farm has several recognitions among which we can highlight the appointment of Farm of National Excellence in the Cultivation of Medicinal Plants, recognition issued by the National Group of Urban and Sub Urban Agriculture and the Institute of Fundamental Research in Tropical Agriculture "Alejandro de Humboldt" by its acronym INIFAT.

- Pick-ups may be delayed by a few minutes depending on the punctuality of the customers.
- Excursions with departures from other destinations if booked for only 1 pax will pay the transport supplement for 2 pax.
- This tour operates with a minimum of 2 passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the provider decides to cancel, for reasons of force majeure or adverse weather conditions, Holiplus will offer an alternative tour or fully refund cost of your trip.
- In case of force majeure the reservation may be cancelled or postponed to another date subject to availability.

- Once the reservation is made you will receive in your email address the voucher with the information you have chosen. If you can, print the voucher to present it to your tour guide.
- Pick-ups may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and the punctuality of the clients. The client must inform the sales office to avoid any inconvenience.
Cancellation and No Show Policy:
- In case of cancellation up to 96 hours before the start of the excursion, no penalty will be applied to the price of the tour.
- Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied.
- Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied.
- Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
