Soroa, is known as the Rainbow of Cuba because among its main attractions is the spectacular waterfall of 22 meters high that invites you to take a refreshing bath at any time of year and that with the rays of the sun in some hours of the day you can appreciate a rainbow in its waters. A place of great richness, variety and excellence of its flora and fauna. It also has the largest orchid garden in the country where you can find more than 750 different varieties of orchids and ferns.
Walking through paths with exuberant vegetation, bordering rivers and waterfalls of crystalline waters is to have the certainty that beautiful places really exist and that human efforts to protect the natural environment persist. Soroa, located in the Province of Artemisa, is the ideal place for these tours, which is why we have designed a series of tours through various trails in this place for your enjoyment.
Sendero Soroa: Spring of life, a route of approximately 2 km where the visitor will be able to interact with the nature and the biodiversity of the zone, we will visit the birth of the sulfur spring, as well as will be part of rituals of the zone and will know the myths and beliefs brought by the African slaves, that are part of our culture.
Itinerary
- Welcome cocktail reception at the facility's Pool Bar. During this event, the musical group "Horizontes" will be present. Brief explanation of the activities to be carried out during the day.
- Birth of the sulphur spring: main tourist attraction of the area in its beginnings.
- Visit to La Yagruma. Place where the client will receive an explanation of the most representative species of the flora and fauna of the region, as well as different historical and social elements.
- La Ceiba: one of the oldest trees in the area, with more than 650 years, venerated and sacred to the Afro-Cuban religion.
- Massage room (mineral-medicinal baths), one of the first buildings in the area, which was visited by famous personalities.
- Viewpoint of the waterfall. In this place you will learn about the formation of the waterfall from the displacement of the tectonic plates and the geological characteristics of the area.
- Looking for the rainbow. Visit to the Soroa Waterfall where you can appreciate the phenomenon of the refraction of light by the water makes it decompose forming a range of colors. Time for swimming in the waterfall.

- Pick-ups may be delayed by a few minutes depending on the punctuality of the customers.
- Excursions with departures from other destinations if booked for only 1 pax will pay the transport supplement for 2 pax.
- This tour operates with a minimum of 2 passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the provider decides to cancel, for reasons of force majeure or adverse weather conditions, Holiplus will offer an alternative tour or fully refund cost of your trip.
- In case of force majeure the reservation may be cancelled or postponed to another date subject to availability.

- Pick-ups may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and the punctuality of the clients. The client must inform the sales office to avoid any inconvenience.
Cancellation and No Show Policy:
- In case of cancellation up to 96 hours before the start of the excursion, no penalty will be applied to the price of the tour.
- Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied.
- Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied.
- Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
