Soroa, is known as the Rainbow of Cuba because among its main attractions is the spectacular waterfall of 22 meters high that invites you to take a refreshing bath at any time of year and that with the rays of the sun in some hours of the day you can appreciate a rainbow in its waters. A place of great richness, variety and excellence of its flora and fauna. It also has the largest orchid garden in the country where you can find more than 750 different varieties of orchids and ferns.
Walking through paths with exuberant vegetation, bordering rivers and waterfalls of crystalline waters is to have the certainty that beautiful places really exist and that human efforts to protect the natural environment persist. Soroa, located in the Province of Artemisa, is the ideal place for these tours, which is why we have designed a series of tours through various trails in this place for your enjoyment.
Path Soroa: Nature and History, a route of approximately 6 km where the visitor while interacting with the nature and the biodiversity of the area, will be able to know the life of the farmers of the zone, their way of life, their customs, forms to cultivate the land etc. You will also pass by the constructions of the coffee plantations of the first settlers settled in this area to discover the social and historical-cultural values of the area.
Itinerary
- Welcome cocktail reception at the facility's Pool Bar. During this event, the musical group "Horizontes" will be present. Brief explanation of the activities to be carried out during the day.
- Community "El Vivero". In this place you will receive a brief explanation about the local development in the area, as well as the work done for the preservation of the environment.
- Ruins of coffee plantations. You will learn about the emergence and expansion of coffee cultivation in Cuba, as well as the development of coffee farms in the area.
- Visit to a Cuban farmer's house: Possibility of interacting with a local family to learn about the different crops, the buildings, their way of life, etc. while tasting a typical Cuban coffee and tropical fruits of the season.
- Majaguas Forest. You will learn about the most significant exponents of the flora and fauna of the region and about the different projects that are carried out.
- Panoramic view of the southern plain of the province of Artemisa, its main industries and projects in development, as well as the Castle of the Clouds and house "Vista Hermosa.
- Castle of the Clouds. The client will receive an explanation of the history of the Castillo de las Nubes and will enjoy an exceptional view of the Sierra del Rosario. -Return to the hotel.

Important
Clients who select the option with Picnic at the end of the tour can attend a pool party at Casa 8 Vista Mirador del Sur. Maximum for 20 pax.
- Recommended: light clothing, swimwear, sunglasses, hats or caps, hard tennis or hiking boots or sandals, other protective layers for seasons rain, solar protection and photographic camera.
- It is recommended to bring at least a bottle of water and light meals with sweet and protein.

- Pick-ups may be delayed by a few minutes depending on the punctuality of the customers.
- Excursions with departures from other destinations if booked for only 1 pax will pay the transport supplement for 2 pax.
- This tour operates with a minimum of 2 passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the provider decides to cancel, for reasons of force majeure or adverse weather conditions, Holiplus will offer an alternative tour or fully refund cost of your trip.
- In case of force majeure the reservation may be cancelled or postponed to another date subject to availability.
- Level of complexity: Medium.
- Once the reservation is made you will receive in your email address the voucher with the information you have chosen. If you can, print the voucher to present it to your tour guide.
- Pick-ups may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and the punctuality of the clients. The client must inform the sales office to avoid any inconvenience.
Cancellation and No Show Policy:
- In case of cancellation up to 96 hours before the start of the excursion, no penalty will be applied to the price of the tour.
- Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied.
- Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied.
- Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
