MAIPO VALLEY, is a Chilean denomination of origin for wines from the homonymous viticultural subregion that comply with the requirements established by the Agriculture Decree No. 464 of December 14, 1994, which establishes the country's viticultural zoning and sets the standards for use as appellations of origin.
Itinerary
Departure from our hotel in Santiago towards the Maipo Valley.
This tour is ideal to learn part of the history of wine and its magic, through green landscapes and imposing mountains of the valley.
In this valley we will visit 2 of its main vineyards, all prestigious and recognized such as Viña Cousiño Macul, Viña Undurraga or Viña Concha y Toro.
In this way, we will enjoy the tasting of the best Maipo wines and its different varieties of strains, aromas and flavors.
In addition, on both visits we will learn about the winemaking process, touring the vineyards, production plants, storage cellars and seeing the final bottled product.
In the middle of both visits we can also try the typical Chilean food that the valley offers.
Finally, in the afternoon we will return to our hotel in Santiago.
