VALPARAISO, is a city, commune and port of Chile, capital of the province and Region of Valparaíso. It is the historical, administrative, university center and the main urban nucleus of the metropolitan area of Valparaíso, which forms together with the communes of Viña del Mar, Quilpué, Villa Alemana and Concón. Valparaíso is the seat of the National Congress, the Commander in Chief of the Chilean Navy and other national institutions of the State such as the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage, the Undersecretariat of Fisheries, the Customs and Fisheries services and Aquaculture. It is one of the busiest ports in Chile and one of the most important in the South Pacific. VIÑA DEL MAR, is a coastal tourist city northwest of Santiago de Chile. It is known for its gardens, beaches, and tall buildings. In the Quinta Vergara Park you will find the Quinta Vergara Amphitheater, the Vergara Palace from the early 20th century, and the Artequin Museum, which exhibits copies of important works of art. The Francisco Fonck Museum of Archeology and History features Moai stone sculptures from Easter Island and reduced heads.
Itinerary
Departure from our hotel in Santiago to the city of Valparaíso, where one of the main commercial ports of the country and the Chilean Congress are located.
During our tour we will appreciate the multicolored houses on its hills, parks and various historical monuments, as well as typical bars and restaurants that make this city a World Heritage Site since 2003. Perhaps all these attributes motivated important figures to make this port is his home, as in the case of the poet winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, Pablo Neruda.
Later, our journey continues to Viña del Mar, also known as "The Garden City", due to the large number of parks and well-kept gardens that are appreciated.
Then, we will visit Reñaca, a very extensive beach and one of the most exclusive on the central coast, which has prestigious restaurants and modern buildings.
